School and the Community

We are proud of the involvement of "Friends of Welshampton School": Fund raising activities are truly sociable events and monies raised help to purchase items such as video cameras, DVDs, CD players, playground games and much more.

Our vicar, Rev. David Ash, comes into school to lead collective worship with our children. The local Mother's Union come into school in the Autumn Term to plant bulbs with the children in preparation for the Mothering Sunday service which is usually held in March.

A Christingle service is held in December. This is well attended by our children.

There are also occasions when we use the Church for special school assemblies; such as Harvest, Leavers service and a Christmas service.
